CareerSculpt brings decades of frontline ETE experience to Alternative Provision (AP) delivery, working directly with young people facing complex barriers across local authority, probation, health and social care and welfare to work settings.

We understand the complexity of alternative provision because we've worked alongside these young people and the agencies that support them, not from a textbook, but from years of frontline practice.

Understanding the Barriers

We understand that young people in alternative provision often arrive having faced significant challenges that have impacted their confidence and self-belief. The barriers our young people commonly face may include: 

Confidence, Aspirations & Self-Belief

• Challenging negative self-perception and low expectations

• Building confidence and self-belief as a foundation for future planning 

• Celebrating strengths, skills and personal qualities

• Supporting young people to see a positive future for themselves

NEET Prevention & Positive Destinations

• Targeted support for young people at risk of NEET

• Awareness of post-16 pathways including apprenticeships,traineeships, further education, T Levels, creative industries and work-based routes 

• Preparation for transitions into education, training or employment 

• Signposting to supported internship and employment pathways and relevant local and national resources 

• Multi-agency working and holistic support coordination
